1. Not medical advice
mineris is a research and information tool for retrieving, organising, screening, and synthesising biomedical literature and evidence. It does not provide medical, clinical, diagnostic, or treatment advice, and nothing it produces is a substitute for the judgement of a qualified healthcare professional.
The Platform is not a medical device and is not intended for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of any disease or health condition. It must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or patient-care decision.
If you have a medical concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read on or generated with the Platform.
2. For research and informational use only
The Platform is intended for use by researchers, clinicians, and other professionals as a productivity and literature-analysis aid. Outputs are intended to support — not replace — independent expert review, critical appraisal, and professional judgement.
3. No guarantee of accuracy or completeness
Biomedical evidence changes constantly, and automated retrieval and synthesis have inherent limitations. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, current, complete, unbiased, or fit for any particular purpose. In particular:
- search and screening may miss relevant studies or include irrelevant ones;
- summaries and syntheses may omit important context, caveats, or contradicting evidence;
- citations, study details, and quantitative results may contain errors;
- evidence may have been superseded, retracted, or corrected after indexing.
You are responsible for independently verifying every output against the underlying primary sources before relying on it.
4. AI / LLM-generated content
Where you use AI or large-language-model features, outputs are generated by probabilistic models and may be inaccurate, misleading, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinated"), including invented citations, quotations, statistics, or study findings. AI outputs must be treated as unverified drafts and checked against authoritative primary sources by a competent person before any use. Do not rely on AI-generated content for any decision affecting patient care, safety, regulatory compliance, or research integrity without such verification.
5. No professional relationship
Use of the Platform does not create a doctor-patient, clinician, advisory, consulting, or other professional relationship between you and mineris. We do not practise medicine and do not direct or supervise any clinical or research decision you make.
6. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- how you interpret and use outputs;
- verifying outputs against primary sources and current clinical guidance;
- ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, professional standards, ethics approvals, and your institution's policies; and
- any decision or action taken based on your use of the Platform.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mineris accepts no liability for any loss, harm, or damage arising from reliance on the Platform or its outputs. This disclaimer forms part of, and is subject to, our Terms of Service — including the disclaimers and limitation-of-liability provisions there. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
